Read For Life
Sunrise Rotary’s colorful Read for Life trailer is a familiar sight at Redlands events where we give free books to children. It is our club’s way of giving back in hope that all kids become passionate about reading. |

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
RYLA high school students are chosen for their leadership potential to attend a free, 3-day camp where they discuss and apply leadership skills. |

Personal Rotary Youth Development Experience (PRYDE)
Junior high students receive a weekend leadership training with activities stressing leading yourself. |

Ford Park Fishing Derby
Sunrise Rotary invites families to get outside, discover Ford Park and have some fun. Explorers and Boy Scouts provide equipment to participants who come without, and the Scouts earned a merit badge too. |

Interact and Rotaract Clubs
Interactors are students ages 12-18 who want to learn about the world. Rotaractors are adults and students ages 18-30 who want to have fun, do service projects and develop leadership skills. |

End Polio
Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. For as little as $0.60, a child can be protected against this crippling disease for life. |

Rotary Youth Exchange
Youth Exchange is a study-abroad program for young people who spend from a few weeks to a full year as international students hosted by local Rotary clubs to build peace and global understanding. We sponsor Redlands students abroad and host international students in Redlands. |

Project Peanut Butter
Severe acute malnutrition is a global problem that impacts millions of children each year. Project Peanut Butter’s therapeutic program treats severely malnourished kids, and supports local economies. |

ShelterBox
Started by a Rotary Club, ShelterBox is an international disaster relief organization which delivers emergency shelter, needed tools, and disaster specific humanitarian aid to people displaced by natural disasters and human conflicts. Since 2000 ShelterBox has has aided over 2 million people in over 100 countries, including the USA. www.shelterboxusa.org |
